Placing a bounty costs you Blades — you do not get them back when the bounty is collected. You are paying for someone else to beat your target.
Players place bounties to:
Settle a rivalry. A player farmed you in queue — stick a price on their head so the community hunts them down.
Challenge the top of the ladder. Put a reward on the #1 so someone finally knocks them off their streak.
Stack the prize with friends. Several players can pile bounties on the same target. The bigger the pool, the more hunters go after them.
The payoff is the target getting beaten — not Blades returning to your wallet. If nobody claims it in 7 days, you get your full bet refunded.
How it works
Any player spends Blades to place a bounty on another player. Bladesare debited from the placer's wallet immediately and locked on the bounty.
When the target loses a ranked match, the winner of that match collects every active bounty on the target in a single payout.
If the bounty is not collected within 7 days, it expires and the full amount is refunded to the placer's wallet.
Placing a bounty
Open any player's profile and click the Bounty button.
Minimum amount is 50 per bounty. No upper limit beyond your wallet balance.
You cannot place a bounty on yourself.
Blades are debited on placement. They sit locked until the bounty is collected, expires, or is refunded.
Stacking
A target can hold multiple active bounties at the same time, from different players or even the same player. Every bounty is independent — when the target is defeated, the winner collects all of them at once.
The public bounties page groups bounties by target and shows the combined reward so hunters always know the actual payout they can claim.
Collection
Collection triggers on ranked match completion. The winner of the match collects; duels and tournament matches do not count.
You cannot collect your own bounty — if you defeat your own target, your bounty stays active and the rest of the pool still goes to you.
Bladesare credited to the winner's wallet instantly.
Expiration & refunds
Every bounty expires 7 days after placement if nobody collects it.
On expiration the full amount is refunded automatically to the placer — no manual action required.
Bounties cannot be cancelled manually once placed. They are either collected by a hunter or refunded on expiry.
Active bounty cap
An anti-spam cap limits how many bounties you can have placed at the same time (targeting other players) — 5 by default, 10 with Smite, 15 with Sharpness. The cap is on your slots as a placer; there is no limit on how many bounties can be placed on a single target. Collected or expired bounties free the slot back up, and there is no limit on the amount you spend per bounty.
Strategy notes
Stacking bounties on a single target raises the total reward, making the target more attractive for hunters. A popular target often gets swept quickly.
Bounties do not restrict matchmaking — the target still queues normally. Collection happens when they lose.
