Competitive Minecraft PvP tier ranking platform. 9 gamemodes, skill-based matchmaking, seasonal tournaments, clan leaderboards, and an in-game economy — all tracked on live leaderboards.
Competitive Minecraft PvP across nine gamemodes. Hidden MMR powers matchmaking while visible Shard Points (SP) place you into tiers from T1 down to LT5. Seasons reset peaks, tournaments reward Blades, and clans compete on aggregate standings.
Every ranked match updates a hidden ELO (MMR) for matchmaking and a visible SP score scaled by performance, opponent strength, and placement bonuses.
Current tier per gamemode adds up to an Overall Rank — Netherite (200+), Diamond, Gold, Iron, Stone, or Wood — on the global leaderboard.
Single-elim, double-elim, and round-robin brackets. Ranked or casual, with Blades prize pools. Seasons cycle on a schedule with soft-resets and rewards.
Earn Blades from wins and seasons, buy cosmetics (trails, auras, titles), post bounties on rivals, and climb the clan leaderboard with your team.
BladeTiers is a competitive Minecraft PvP server where every ranked match feeds a dual-rating system: a hidden MMR used for matchmaking and a visible Shard Point (SP) score that places you into tiers across nine gamemodes.
SP ranges map to tiers: 900+ is T1, 800–899 is HT2, 700–799 is LT2, 600–699 is HT3, 500–599 is LT3, 400–499 is HT4, 300–399 is LT4, 200–299 is HT5, and 100–199 is LT5. Below 100 is Unranked. SP changes each match from a +20 win / −16 loss base scaled by MMR compensation, combat performance, opponent strength, a 1.5× placement bonus for your first 10 matches, and winstreak dampening past 5 wins. Tier floors at LT5, LT4, LT3, and LT2 prevent drops from losses alone.
Each gamemode's current tier is worth cumulative points (T1 = 60, HT2 = 28, LT2 = 16, HT3 = 10, LT3 = 6, HT4 = 4, LT4 = 3, HT5 = 2, LT5 = 1). Your total across all nine gamemodes maps to an Overall Rank: Wood (1+), Stone (10+), Iron (25+), Gold (50+), Diamond (100+), or Netherite (200+).
Nine gamemodes, each with its own tier ladder: Vanilla, Crystal, Pot, UHC, Sword, Axe, Mace, SMP, and Nethop.
Seasons run on a fixed schedule. When a season ends, final tiers are snapshotted, Blades rewards are distributed based on each player's peak tier (up to 2000 for T1), and the next season begins with a tier soft-reset while match history and peak tiers are preserved on your profile.
Blades are the in-game currency. Earn them from ranked matches (25 per win, 10 per draw, 5 per loss), tier promotions (100), winstreak bonuses, and season rewards. Spend them on cosmetics (kill effects, trails, titles, auras, orbital effects), tournament entry fees, and bounties placed on other players.
Two optional subscription tiers — Smite and Sharpness — add quality-of-life perks: Blades multipliers (1.15×/1.3×), extra kit slots, more active bounties, daily missions, armor trim and shield pattern customizers, custom item names, lobby elytra, and (Sharpness only) queue priority. Ranked play and tier placement are unchanged.

The Hall of Fame honors players for various achievements. The first category is Pioneers — players who completed at least 10 ranked matches across any gamemode before the program closes. The Pioneer badge is permanent and shows on your profile. More categories (season champions, milestone records, and more) will be added over time.
